MLA '09 Annual Meeting and Exhibition

The MLA annual meeting is the premier event for health information professionals around the world. Through its programs and services, MLA provides lifelong educational opportunities, supports a knowledgebase of health information research, and works with a global network of partners to promote the importance of quality information for improved health to the health care community and the public. As MLA prepares for MLA ’09, changes will be made to the schedule to allow dedicated time to learn and to relax and enjoy the tropical setting. This will include generous time for networking and special events.

The meeting will also continue the MLA '08 efforts to “green” the meeting—not only to reduce the environmental impact of the meeting, but to save on shipping and printing costs. MLA will work with its contractor before the meeting and locally to offer exhibitors many opportunities to join this effort and to save time and money preparing their exhibit programs.
